Description
AIU Online's School of Visual Communication was created to educate and develop artistic and imaginative students for careers in the fields of commercial art and design. This Bachelor of Fine Arts degree features a concentration in Digital Design, a real-world curriculum placing an emphasis on the development of the creative thinking process.
Students will learn the principles, practical applications and methodologies used to complete competent and creative graphic solutions for specified design problems. Throughout the Digital Design curriculum, they will create a portfolio of projects from each of their courses, the intent of which is to prepare them to pursue such positions as animators, web designers, graphic designers, Flash animators and many other creative careers.
All required graphics software is included in the cost of course materials, providing students with training in the latest design software necessary to help pursue a chosen career upon completion of the degree program.

Great school. Great faculty. Wonderful use of technology. Accelerated degree MBA program is intense! Dedication is required with at least 2 hours per weekday of study and an additional 6-8 hours on weekends. Preparation for classes requires prior reading of between 2-6 chapters per week. I graduated with a BFA in Digital Design from this school. The program was fast paced and intense, but doable. The teachers were very good. I got a good solid education from this school and would advise anyone to go here as well.

I have gone to this school as well and I have love my experience there. The professors were really knowledgeable and the classroom experience is set up to be interactive.
