Description

This MA focused on the evolution of land warfare throughout history, from the Classical Era to modern times. The core classes touched on military philosophy, research skills, and two classes that provided a survey of Western military history, from Ancient Greece to today. There was a wide range of major course options, allowing students to focus on a time period or topic of interest within the greater topic. This degree was recently revamped, in terms of structure and requirements, and differs somewhat from the requirements from a few years ago.

American Public University is a good on-line school. I was a private pay student (no financial aid) and found the school was as good as the public community college institution for administrative matters. One mistake was made on my billing which was handled in a timely manner. I did not require assistance from the counselors to plan my schedule as I found the information in the catalogues sufficient to determine graduation requirements for my business ...

This place is really bad. The admissions process is confusing and a big pain b/c no one ever calls you to try and help you along the way. I never received a single phone call from any of them after leaving numerous voicemails. I have to agree with ppl about the financial aid experience. They didn't do a very good job explaining what needed to be done. They pushed my credit card authorization form back ...
