I recently finished my MSc. in Technology in this program and was surprised by the previous review of the program. It took me approximately 4 years to complete the program working full time and taking a mix of online and in-person classes. I could have done it faster (maybe 2.5 years) but there was a lack of motivation on my part to choose a thesis topic and write. The instructors are very knowledgeable and gave ...

Beware of ASU

ASU is one of these univeristies that behaives like a for-porfit and hides behind a non-profit status. They have made up mixed degrees like a BS in healthy life styles coaching and exercise and welllness that will not get you a job in the real world post graduation. Their online program called balckboard is pathetic. It kept crashing at the start of the semester and the excues we got was "we weren't anticipating this much ...

I worked as a geologist in an environmental consulting firm for 6 years before starting this program.

I believe this program is good for giving you a good mix of topics that apply to environmental management. I now manage a wide variety of environmental projects, and I feel a lot more confident in doing so now that I have some exposure to chemical management and industrial hygiene.

I have recently graduated from Arizona State University with MS in Environmental Technology Management. It took me about three years to complete the program including my graduate thesis, and I would not have done it if I had to take courses in a regular class room. It was perfect for my settings because I was allowed to work on my own times and locations. I had very pleasant and positive experiences with this well established Distance Learning Program throughout my years with ASU. This online learning system was very effective in communicating with my professors and even with my classmates. I had a sense of an active participation in class activities mainly because I could freely ask questions through an email to my professors or even classmates.
This online learning system provided excellent lecture presentations that were every effective for a distance learning. I enjoyed the audio power point presentation the most. Most of all, faculties in this program are very professional and helpful. Their responses to my questions are always timely; they even emailed me back while traveling oversea. With excellent curriculums in environmntal management program and a highly advanced online technology, I would say that ASU program provides one of the best distance learning programs nationwide.
