Ashworth College

Like every one else, the Student Services Dept. is not all that great. But, for those who are trying to get in the Law Enforcement field, Ashworth is the way to go. Because of Ashworth, two of my buddies are now police officers for the city of New York. Many police agencies are becoming more strict when it comes to educational requirements. Very few police deparments are accepting High School Diplomas or GED'S (Good Enough Diploma) As for the other police departments, they want 60 college credits or greater. Look, Ashworth is a self, paced, timed and motivated school where you will not find yourself pulling your hair out because you have to be in front of your computer when they say you do, or when a paper or homework is due. I bet anyone who is enrolled with at online school, the financial, and academic stress they are going through right now. With Ashworth there is no financial stress, and if there is an academic stress, that's because you're either mentally challanged or plain old stupid. To conclude, they are accredited and recognized by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC). It is also recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as well as The US Department Of Education. If you are still not convinced, then do some research online about these three accreditation agencies. What more do you want??? $80.00 per semester credit hour, you do the math. And yes their credits do transfer and are accepted by some institutions and universities, not all. Do your Homework before enrolling!!!!

Awful. Stay away. Slow material delivery, slow responce time, very very slow grading process. This is a bottom teir school. Almost any other accredited school would be better.

Great classes, affordable, but the school lacks in the student services section. waits can be 25 minutes, and many times after that you get transferred and have to wait another twenty minutes to get an answer
