I have 2 classes (out of 20) left until I am finished with Ashworth's Associates in Psychology. I highly recommend Ashworth if you are dedicated to your education. The price is right, the books are included, they take monthy payments with no interest charged (you do need to have your tuition payed in full to graduate),it's self paced. My employer is paying for most of my tuition and will honor my degree when it comes time to advance to Case Manager. If you plan on transferring credits to another institution, make sure they will accept the Ashworth credits as the are nationally accredited and not regionally. I'm glad I found Ashworth.

I am starting my fourth semester of my associate degree program in accounting and I am so pleased with Ashworth that I am definitely going to stay and complete a batchelor degree program. Ashworth University has provided me with a wealth of knowledge for such a low cost. I've found no other online school that offers up to master degree level programs at such a low cost. Ashworth is accredited by the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) which is nationally recognized by the US Department of Education as the accrediting agency that accredits schools of primarily distance learning. I have also found that credits from Ashworth University are transferrable to many other institutions that are regionally and nationally accredited. My employer, the Internal Revenue Service, has approved me for employee tuition assistance without hesitation. I recommend Ashworth to anyone who is looking for a properly accredited college education for a great value.

Ashworth college is an AT HOME STUDY COURSE! there are no teachers to hold your hand and complete the exam with you, if you are not outgoing enough to self teach yourself DO NOT USE THE INSTITUTION! The materials and exams are pretty self explanitory, you read it and understand it or don't and fail it's really up to you. Reguarding the techinical support and staff they are very helpful as long as you explain your problems. All in all I am currently enjoying my experiance.

I am currently enrolled for BBA programme ...Reading the above comments ....I would like to tell about my experience with Ashworth...I already do hold a Diploma in Basic accounting from Ashworth...The books were really informative and not that bad...I took my exams online results were quick...when I completed my payments I did receive my Diploma without any hastle.I did get bookkeeper job addign up that in my resume.
They recently opened up the Bachelor's ...I wanted to enroll ,the staff whom I dealt with were okay...for quite a few lied about the office hours as he did not want to entertain any calls after 4pm.
I did complain the matter to the incharge...

I have submitted some of my assigments they are quite challenging I reviewed the books they are using...they are all really informative and really good ones I have to agree with that. You will definitely gain knowledge if you go thru the materials with real interest.

once you drop the assignments in the drop box ...the course instructer responds if she needs any or acknowledges it with comments.
You receive the grade within 3 weeks definitely.

So far good...when you email them for any query it does take a week to respond though.

Ashworth is in my affordability range.Other colleges are really expensive for Bachelor's...I cant afford them...some were rude also to me...i dont want to disclose the colleges name.

after experiencing lies and rudeness from two to three colleges...I felt Ashworth is quite okay and it clicked...They responded to me...So I consider that's where I have to get my bachelor's.

So I will recommend Ashworth.See the budget, the time,Accredition...Always make sure you know about the college limitations then join.

But dont compare the degree with other colleges.this is Distance learning...nationnaly accredited.Thats all.

Not that bad...Thats the budget go for it!

PS: This is a real statement from a real student from Ashworth.

Since Ashworth College became Ashworth University there are several changes that have been made which are continuing to improve the Ashworth experience. There is no longer a need to wait endlessly for the semester exams, since you can now access them online. They can e-mail your proctor the exam or they can e-mail your proctor an access code so you can take your exam online. I called them and told them that I was ready for my exam and within 48 hours it was e-mailed to my proctor. Ashworth University is a great value and there are several colleges and universities that accept Ashworth credits. It is a GREAT value for the money! Have you seen how much certain other online colleges cost?

I have two children and work full-time so it was very difficult for me to get to classes after working a full day. Ashworth College allowed me to obtain my associate's degree without interferring with my work-life balance. If you are dedicated and a self-learner with ambition, you will be able to achieve your goals. The financing was great and the feeling of joy that overcame me when I receive the actual degree certificate was overwhelming. I am now obtaining my Bachelor's degree through Ashworth.

I started by wanting to get my Business Management degree and decided to change course torwards the end. The support people were very nice and informative about how many courses I could transfer to start my new career path. The value is exceptional also as I checked with another online university and they wanted twice as much per course and classes had to be paid for before you took them. I think overall Ashworth is a great choice.

I realize a 10 for Value may not show up in the review but it's important to know that someone going to the (distance learning/online) school feels that way. I'm looking at $4800 for an Associates degree at 0% financing. I compared that to a student loan and there was NO comparison. My minimum payments are $80 per month where my student loans were gonna be about $225...no good.

I'm just a guy with a family that has had a successful business that came crashing down all around him and this school is giving me the opportunity to do a 180 degree turnaround. I'm starting from the bottom once again but this time I will have a degree in my hand that gives me an edge over my competition...yes, I feel it's that good.

I just wish Ashworth offered a degree in Project Management. Other than that I highly recommend it.

Review:

I recently completed my Associates degree in Early Childhood Education with Ashworth College. Overall I really liked the college. The online exams were great! I recieved my grades the minute I submitted my test. (No waiting and waiting forever for results!) And the tuition and payments are GREAT!!!!!! The only problem with the college is there is really no teacher that helps and guides you through the program. This college is for people who like to "do it on your own!" Also, if you go to Ashworth I would suggest that you stay on top of student services to make sure that shipments are sent... I waited 2 months one time for a semester Exam. After that I would call and remind them that things needed to be shipped and I didn't have anymore problems! (I know that isn't the student's job... but it could be worse!) I learned a lot through the college, and I was able to transfer 53 of my credits to the college that I am going to now(Ashford University)!! I would recommend Ashworth College to friends and family. (Oh, I would like to mention that you get a LOVELY class ring when you graduate from Ashworth!!

I cannot in good faith recommend this school for Master's programs. I was enrolled in this school for a while, and finally cancelled. It seemed that the farther I got in my program, the slower the shipments became and the weaker student services became as far as responding to my questions or concerns. I lost quite a bit of money, but since I wanted to graduate sometime this decade, this was a move I felt I had to make.

This was a good course to keep me growing. I used a lot of what I learned in my current position with a public company. I found certain courses better than others but that may be the same for all colleges. I'm not using this degree to get into a wall street firm. Use the payment plan.

Overall, I had a good experience with this school. The only improvement that the school needs is in student services. I completed the AS in Criminal Justice in two years with them. The books and study guides that I received were for the most part current. I would recommend this school. For the cost and the quality that you get it's worth it. However, I still read about issues with student services.
