Description
The Advanced Technological Education program is a degree completion program offered to students who already have an associate's degree. Students are also required to be currently employed for acceptance.
The core component of this degree program focuses on adult education methods and how technology can facilitate this goal. A large portion on the curriculum focuses on discussion boards, with students sharing perspectives and personal experiences.
The staff is friendly and willing to work with the students in completing the program of study. Most of the instructors act in the role of facilitators instead of instructors; they guide the dialog, and allow students to learn from the experience of others. With the majority of students being non-traditional and adult learners, they offer a wealth of experience that adds to the experience.
Upon graduation, the student will receive a Bachelor's of Science in Technology, with a concentration in Advanced Technological Education.
