I am not sure what the negative hype is all about.  I completed a little over 2 years at Texas A&M in the mid 90's, and a few classes at the University of Houston.   

I recently enrolled at Capella and completed 2 core classes.
I had a great experience and the instructor was very knowledgeable with a wealth of experience. The assignments were actually more intense (in some cases)than my work at A&M and UH.  The student portal is very easy to navigate.  The staff was always helpful and professional.  My wife graduated from the University of Texas.  She regularly made comments on the assignments and how they are just as comprehensive as any assignments at UT.

I recommend Capella University.
