I earned 57 hours in traditional classroom settings in two colleges starting in 1978 and continuing off and on thru 1994. Life, job transfers and kids prevented me from finishing timely. Kids grew up, went to college and moved out so I enrolled in Central Texas online in Oct. of 2007. I only needed 7 courses to graduate. It was not a "give me" program and I actually had to study, read, do the assignements and take proctored exams at my local university testing center. But it was very user friendly and the online Blackboard system was great. Only bad thing to say was the Math was horrible for an old guy like me! My only regret is they don't offer a 4 year program. CTC allowed me to complete my degree after a total of 31 years.

I took classes at CTC while I was in the Navy. I had really good experiences with the classes and the instructors. Since then I've tranferred those credits to several schools and have had no problems at all. As a veteran I would strongly recommend any military personal to take advantage of any courses offered by CTC.
