Good intentions, not so great implementation

I chose DePaul because of its flexibility but after 2 years in the program, and watching coworkers move through other online programs I feel that you pay for the flexibility with a greatly increased work load. There are also several odd required courses that take too long to complete, since they must be done sequentially. I evaluated a number of online degree programs and chose the DePaul BA program for the following reasons. Flexibility and number of online of classes, experience and suitability of online instructors and DePaul's proven track record in educating working adults. Among all the online schools I picked DePaul's SNL Online Program because of DePaul University's reputation as one of the best and renowned University's in Chicago, as well as the Mid-West, with a campus that has been around for over a 100 years unlike the traditional online schools. DePaul graduates hold prestigious positions, and Mayor Daley of Chicago is a graduate of DePaul, amongst other executives. The SNL program was the best learning experience for me with professors that really cared for our academic growth, and the accelerated BA online program helped me to earn my degree quickly for a fraction of the cost I would have paid else where, and I am proud to hold a Bachelor's Degree from one of the top schools in the Midwest.

Excellences in education and in flexibility are defined at DePaul's school for new learning and the distance program. I found both the program and the staff to be more than professional in the area academics as well as genuinely striving to help you learn and succeed. I can't say anything more than to say that I am proud to have my Diploma from DePaul.
