It also prepares new and experienced technologists to plan for the using of a range of technologies in enhancing existing businesses and starting new businesses. The program uses electronic mail, the World Wide Web, class threaded discussions, streaming video scenarios, textbooks and research projects in a way that models the use of information technologies in business and industry. During the program the learners utilize asynchronous threaded discussions, email, and collaborative learning to create an interactive environment. Learner-centered instruction is fostered by tailoring assignments to the subject area(s) and the learner's business interests. Each cohort has it's own private web space and access to all public spaces. The sites are best viewed utilizing Internet Explorer.
