Description

Logistics is the science of procuring, maintaining, and transporting personnel, material, and facilities and the management of the details of such an undertaking. There is a growing interest for a program that will provide a comprehensive understanding of the theories and concepts of logistics. The objectives of the Logistics Certificate program are to provide non-degree seeking students an opportunity to complement their practical experience in the field of logistics with a thorough study of the theories and concepts in the discipline. In addition, the courses included in the certificate-of-completion program portion of the material used for the certified professional logistician (CPL) examination administered by the Society of Logistics Engineers.
