Description

The Bachelor of Science in Business, Management, and Economics with a concentration in Business Management examines the roles and functions involved in the coordination of human, physical and financial resources to accomplish organizational purposes. Students are expected to draw on analytical tools and theories from a variety of disciplines (e.g. economics, psychology and sociology, mathematics) that provide frameworks for understanding, predicting, allocating and controlling. Since managers work with and through humans as individuals, small groups, and whole organizations, students concentrating in business management are also expected to increase their understanding of human behavior, including behavior grounded in cultures other than their own.Students develop individualized degree programs suited to their needs and interests, and meeting the expectations of the concentration. Students can also earn college credit for life and work experience through ESC's prior learning assessment process.
