Outstanding school Outstanding school. Definitely worth the time, the effort, and finishing. The class schedule is all up to you. You can find classes in your area that will transfer in or take classes at the college. I am currently pursuing an MBA from another college. The instructors were great, the administration is great, & graduation was a blast. They really take care of you. I couldn't attend regular classes, but this was a way to complete all of my credits. Not to mention, I was one of the rare students who had soo many credits but couldn't apply them all to the school I wanted. Excelsior saved me years by helping to pull everything together. This is an excellent school, method of learning, and way to "get there." The prices are good too... just compare prices yourself. The school name literally means ever upward. Great school & every bit as challenging as other schools. Maybe even more so because you have to be disciplined to work. Anything worth having requires work on your part. Can't say enough about the staff & program. This is the education of the future and they were doing this when everyone else was just thinking about it. It is a model for distance learning. Great school. ~Recent grad.

Don't waste your time with this school I received a bachelors of science in Information Technology from this school a year ago and after submitting at least 500 resume and cover letter combinations have only received two job interviews since. I graduated with a 3.6 gpa nonetheless. If you already possess job experience in your field and you are looking for a degree to fulfill promotion or job change requirement then Excelsior is great as they are very lenient in granting college credits for life experience, but if you are trying to complete a degree to break into a new field--don't bother with Excelsior. Employers are less than impressed with an online degree, regardless of grades.

BS_IT Excelsior College is a great institution to obtain online degree at your own pace, especially if you are working adult. However, my experience is little sour in regards to thier class schedule which changes at the first day of class. In addition to canceling the class, some of the classes have not been offered for past year and a half which I desperately need to take to graduate. It is this frustration and uncertainity that makes me pessimist about this institution.
