Earning the credit required for this degree helps you create a strong foundation on which to build a career. The Bachelor of Science curriculum is designed to give you an overview of the entire business world. By gaining the knowledge and skills associated with this level of learning, you should acquire the background necessary for a variety of non-specialist employment opportunities. If you are considering graduate study in business or law school following graduation, you may find the Bachelor of Science degree desirable preparation for such a pursuit. If Excelsior College does not offer a business concentration in your field of interest, you may choose to demonstrate your preparation in the field by enrolling in the general business option and applying a block of credit in a particular business-related field as electives.

I was matriculated into Excelsior hoping to get a second BS in a different area than my first degree. I chose BS-CIS. They accepted my undergrad courses and examinations that I took. Excelsior represents the best opportunity for anyone to earn an accredited degree. After many attempts to start and finish my degree with several colleges, Excelsior provided me the means to do so with their liberal transfer policy for credit by examinations.
