Clinical Leadership Program for Health Professionals

Level: Masters
Language: English
Category: Clinical Health Management

Description

As the health professions have evolved, so have the scope and responsibilities for the growing number of health professionals across the country. In order to be better prepared to meet the challenges of professional and clinical responsibilities, GW has developed a master's level program for individuals prepared in a clinical health profession who seek to expand the level of education initially received in an entry-level program.Health professionals now find themselves increasingly involved in clinical education, research, and management roles. However, as is so often the case, it is difficult to find a graduate-level program suited to the needs of clinically trained professionals who are actively engaged in a clinical practice setting. The Clinical Leadership Program is a 33-credit program offered in a distance learning format, utilizing web-based course work on the Internet. The program is subdivided into three components: the research, professional and specialty content sequences.
