"Good" Online school, always improving
January 5, 2012
I started at Grantham in 2007, and iitially wasn't very impressed. The courses seemed too easy, and without due dates for many assignments I had no real guidance, just a textbook and a list of assignments to email to an instructor. The website was not easy to navigate back then either. BUT.....After taking a break for a military deployment, I returned to taking online courses at Grantham and Completed my AS in Computer Science. The ...

Honest Opinion of Grantham
November 12, 2011
I recently received by Bachelors at Grantham. Overall I have been impressed with the school. Now I know there is a issue with accreditation among a lot of folks. Nationally vs regionally does not make a difference from a workforce standpoint. Its an individual/business bias. Actually very few employers even ask about accreditation. If and when a company/business does a degree audit it will still show its accreditation by the Department of Education. Most employers don't ...

Save your money
May 13, 2011
I know it's "online" and all... But the whole class was nothing more than a garden variety textbook and a list of assignments. My thought was "Ok, is it that hard to put up some video lectures or something? I don't need to pay a thousand dollars to sit and read a textbook!" I would say save your money and go to the library. This school is a really poor value.

Easy classes, great instructors
May 4, 2011
I completed 3 classes in 8 weeks with Grantham and had no problems what-so-ever. I am not sure where all the negative feedback is coming from. Every time I needed to get a hold of my adviser, it was usually within a day that he returned my emails. The instructors were accessible view email at all times. The classes were pretty easy but challenging enough to keep my interest. I would be continuing on but ...

A good online college
April 7, 2011
Lets be honest... Grantham University is an online university. It is not going to be neccessarily easy nor are you going to receive "lectures". It's ONLINE. Do you really expect an online institution to give you lectures? In my experience so far I have received weekly guidelines of what is expected to be done and what I need to submit. Following the guideline I have so far done quite well -- I have a high ...

Grantham Is Awesome!
August 6, 2010
Grantham was great.I had one year of college left in a BS in CS and finished it with Grantham. The people who complain about Grantham seem very immature and want to be spoon fed. I have been taking Grantham 3 years and I have never ever had an issue with them. Trust me doing programming and Data Structures and Physics with online is tough but Grantham teachers and staff made my journey great. Thank God ...

Good School no complaints
January 29, 2010
I have been attending Grantham 3 years and I am almost done. I grad this 2010. I called my near by college and asked if they would take my degree and if I could teach their with a BS degree from Grantham, they said yes. Marshfield Hospital one of the biggest clinics in the nation told me they accepted Granthams BS degree. I am confused how I read such bad comments on this forum. Grantham ...

I have a BS from Grantham University which has opened many employment doors. Online course work is not easy, but does bring out the students dedication and motivation to earning their degree.

I will be enrolling in a Masters program this fall (2010)

I am currently working with an Admissions Representative from Grantham University; and now conducting research on whether I should enroll into their Masters Program. After reading many of the above comments I would say that Grantham will probably meet your individual requirements based on your needs. If you envision yourself attending an MIT or USC, or similar institution, then you may want to opt to research other universities; however, if you are currently working in an industry and are perhaps a US Military Veteran and/or working adult, then you may want to consider Grantham because of their reputation for being Military friendly and helpful to the adult community.

Wow, the spelling by most of the poster's who are almost done is horrible. Must be a good school to teach people how to articulate so well!!! A success story on their website includes a story of a person with no degree at all getting a Masters in three years !!!! Yeah it's a good college alright.

I was at AMU today, they will take Grantham credits. He even said " Allot of schools wont, but WE DO!" Actually Campbell University will take up to 67 credits from a nationally accredited school, including Grantham. Im almost done but have to transfer because the sheriff's department i want to work for when i retire wants regional. THe state cops were fine with grantham. Bottom line, Grantham will open allot of doors, but not as many as a regionally accredited college. THey have come along way, i actually believe now that they will get their accreditation at some point. THey are under new management. Ive had no problems in the last 2 yrs. IF there is a small one they hustle to fix it. AMU takes up to 90 credits and most of my CORE is done . Grantham is no longer a bad school. They have articulation agreements with a number of schools, look it up. If your starting , i would go to a regionally accredited school, if your in grantam now, finish it, or transfer.

I have been attending Grantham for 2 years now. I do not see any of the issues that people are saying. I took Computer Science classes in Java, Javascript, History, and Physics to name a few and they are college level. They are harder than brick and morter colleges. Why? in my exams I would get 25 hard problems in my physics class (engineering level) not 12 or 13 like I had gotten in brick and morter. I have also learned more in my Javascript classes and java classes than brick and moter. I have taken 3 years at a brick and morter college and compared to Grantham, I would rather take grantham. At least I could get a hold of my instructers. At a regualer college they were way to busy to help students teaching their classes and would push their work on to tutors of which I knew more than they did. Grantham is a great school and I am a real person. email me and I can talk with you. I am real student and I do not have stock in grantham...People who complain about Grantham
must be kids, and have never gone to brick colleges. They need to grow up..Grantham is for the mature and not children. those of you who have had issue? Not sure why but I have been at Grantham for 2 years now and have had nothing but great things. They have improved so much.
Give it a rest. Plus I know it is marketing who is bashing Grantham. The marketing from other online schools or brick colleges...well here is my rating for grantham 10/10..Great school and great classes. It is just getting better!

Grantham University is a great school to earn your degree, I have not had any problems are concerns with teachers, people need to do there research before enrolling with any online program. Also Grantham has an A+ Plus rating with the BBB, if there are any real issues or complains about the school they would be listed there. I have 3 more classes before i earn my degree from Grantham, i cannot wait!
