Description

The General Studies program is designed to expose students to broad areas of Human knowledge - the humanities and fine arts, the natural sciences and mathematics, and the social sciences. Working closely with an advisor, the student tailors a specific program according to his or her needs and interests. This experience is of particular value in assisting students who may be uncertain of the major they wish to pursue when they enter college. General Studies students are well prepared to pursue a baccalaureate degree or to take advantage of specialized training offered by future employers.
