Description

Indiana State University offers a master of science in nursing with a specialization in family nurse practitioner. All nursing courses are offered via the Internet; clinical courses may be arranged in the student's community.This master program (45-51 semester hours) prepares students for leadership and clinical roles in advanced practice nursing, and serves as a foundation for doctoral studies. Graduates of the Family Nurse Practitioner track are eligible to apply for American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification.
