Terrible school. The students have the requirements of the program changed on them with minimal notice DURING the course of study! Who does that? Every other place if changes are made to the program it applies to new students not the current ones. Also, the way teachers are treated is terrible. The facility are over worked and their suggestions are tossed by the side with the only goal being to pass as many students as possible. It's no wonder why the turn over rate for facility is so high when they have little support and over worked. I would steer clear far from this over priced "higher learning" place as all they care about is your dollars, not your education.

I graduated Keiser university when they called it
Keiser college in Sarasota. I graduated in 2006 with an Associate of science in computer networking and security management,
and was awarded another degree in Information technology in 2007. During the time I attended and after I graduated,
I have not been able to land one perminent position in the field that I trained for. They claim to provide job placement
assistance, which is nothing but a joke. They help you put together a resume and place it on the (College network),
which is nothing other than a glorified online resume posting service.
And they print up a bunch of garbage off the web about resumes, interviews and finding a job
(which much of it isn't even their own material), and that's it. A year before I graduated,I tried
through their student services to obtain an internship, but it never happened. Some of the other students got internships,
one was a known drug addict who did prison time, another had three or four kids and a low paying job at a home improvement
store. It seemed the only people they would pay any attention to where people who where desparate and had kids. It seems
somewhat that their major concern is not for the well being and future of the students, It's about the students money
or money from the government grants or loans they set up for the students to attend there. It's really not about rather
the students look good and do good, it's about making themselfs look good as an institution by paying attention only
to the desparate and needy, and the people that have kids they can't afford. Their biggest slogan is ("The sudents come
first") when it should be ("The students money comes first").I spent over $40,000 of my families money to attend and
got myself into over $5000 worth of debt to finish classes there. I haven't been able to land the first steady job that
I trained for. What they call job placement assistance is a joke, and the resume they put together for me I was told was
backwards.

I realy don't appreciate the false sense of concern they ultimatly imposed on me there, and am now in a state of
dire straights. I feel that I was robed and scammed out of the several thousand dollars I spent to attend there.
I plan on consulting an attorney about a possible civil action and contacting several investigative media entities
( such as 60 minutes ) to see if they would like to do a segment on the career college industry and what it's
really all about, making myself and Keiser the stars of the show. I've tried finding an e-mail and/or mailing
address for Dr.Keiser himself, but couldn't manage to do so.
Do with this what you wish.

I would advise against Keiser Career College. I'm not sure how Keiser University is run so I will refrain from commenting. I attended and graduated from Keiser Career College's LPN program. I am very grateful that KCC gave me the tools needed to pass the NCLEX, however the institution was very poorly run, had ever changing rules, even more ever changing faculty and general disorganization all around. A school that charges such astronomical prices should treat their students with respect and honesty. This however was not the case for many faculty/Administrative persons at KCC. Having attended and graduated from other colleges, I would say that Keiser is certainly sub par. If you need to get in and get out fast, Keiser can do that (for a large fee) but if you have the time and the choice, please save yourself the trouble and attend a more organized and more respected institution.

Keiser Career College is really about helping the students, they will cost you more than a traditional/public school but they are well worth it as they help you find jobs and pass the certification exams. I went to the St. Petersburg campus for Medical Assisting and was offered a job from my externship site prior to even graduating ! You can't please everyone so not everyone will be happy with them, but as for myself and my graduating class, we would recommend them for anyone who is serious about their education and their future.

I want to know that Keiser Career College has a transfer form for me to bring to the school that I enroll right now or not.

I felt completely ripped off by Keiser. If you are thinking about going to this school or one similar do some research first. Check on the prices and find out if credits can be transferred to other schools. I found it costs four times more than a traditional university and Keiser credits will not transfer. Get the facts before signing up.

Do not fall into the same trap I did.

I have been attending this college since October of 2003. I have been going completely online for my Bachelors of Science degree in Management Information Systems and really love this school and all it offers. There are many brick and morter locations as well as online degrees.
