Description

The ALT programme is concerned with the continuing professional development of people working with technology-based learning. It enables participants to acquire and extend the knowledge and skills needed to create and manage high quality technology-based learning resources, services and environments. The programme is based around: a set of course modules; the exchange of knowledge and experience; individually tailored project-based assignment tasks; and the use of asynchronous computer-mediated communications for tutorial support and learner collaboration. The programme is a part-time, modular distance learning programme, involving people based in higher/further education and in training worldwide.
