BA/BS is an competency-based online degree completion program with degree options in Organizational Communication (BA) or Management (BS). The program is 90 quarter credits of integrated, collaborative learning on a selective admissions cohort model. Coursework is entirely online -- each quarter's work is based on a case study, scenario or problem in which all compentency requirements and assessments are embedded. The topical structure only becomes visible at points of assessment, at which the competencies are transcribed into three credit course equivalents.Students are typically full-time working adults who take 15 quarter credits per quarter for two academic years with no residency requirement. Cohorts consist of 10-15 students, who share the course sites with four to five instructors and assessment faculty each term in a highly interactive, discussion-based pedagogical experience. The programs are delivered through WebCT courseware.
