Graduate Certificate in HIV/AIDS
Level: Certificate
Language: English
Category:
Nursing
Description
The MGH Institute of Health Professions has developed an HIV/AIDS educational program for Registered Nurses with a minimum of a Diploma/Associate Degree or BSN, or non-nurses holding a Baccalaureate Degree in any field. The program enables students to become specialists in HIV/AIDS. Three graduate level courses are required. The curriculum is designed so that the knowledge obtained may also be transferable and have application to persons with other immunology related disease entities. Such education for the present and the anticipated future of reduction in the number of cases of HIV/AIDS will maximize the return on this investment and enable the nurse to practice now and in the 21st century.
