Michigan State University's School of Criminal Justice is the oldest and one of the most respected criminal justice programs in the world. Its graduates have gone on to distinguished careers in public law enforcement, security, and other areas of the criminal justice system. Graduates join elite global alumni, many of whom are leaders within their chosen field. To maintain its leadership role, in 1998 the School of Criminal Justice placed its Masters of Science in Criminal Justice, with a Security Management specialization on the Internet. The 30-credit hour program is taught by MSU faculty and explores critical incident management, information security and other contemporary issues in criminal justice or security management.
