Description

The Master's of Arts in Cross-disciplinary Studies program provides graduate studies that serve mid-career working adults who are looking to broaden and enrich their educational horizons in keeping with liberal studies traditions. The program prepares students for tackling social issue using a multi-disciplinary approach. The MACS degree can be completed as a 33-credit hour degree program or a 36-credit hour honors degree program. MACS will be offered online via electronic learning technologies (WebCT). Some coursework may be completed on campus if a student chooses. Students enrolled in the MACS degree program can select 12-credit concentration tracks from the College of Allied Health and Nursing, the Graduate School of Computer and Information Sciences, and the Oceanographic Center. Additional concentration tracks may be added in the future.
