I would appreciate any input on what the number and type of writing requirements are expected at APU? Thank you.

For the "its a joke" person - You are crazy if you think that each professor is going to rewrite the curriculum. Of course they share! And since you are just going for an AA, which you can get at any community college, what are you complaining about? That is an entry level "lower division" degree! It is barely more complicated than high school and most high schoolers are already taking college level courses which fulfill and AA. I have gone through 2 AS degrees and a BA degree - and I had classes in my AS degree which was the same set up - that is why they call it "General Education"!

Has anyone graduated with the Bachelor's in Environmental Studies from APU/AMU? If so, have you tried to get into a regionally accredited Master's or PhD program at any regular state college or university? I am curious to know if the bachelor's is well-received when applying for graduate degrees.

Gee, can these postings read anymore directly from the CEO running the place? I might believe them if I was not American and used to insider advertising or a teenager etc....

I concur. AMU has a very competative scholistic university with instructors that carry their own. I for one have found AMU to be very helpful in all matters and knowledgable in all areas. I plan to recieve my degree in Environmental Studies with pride from AMU.
