I tried to explain to her how Gary Baitz was worthless in my studies and to his defense was basiclly tough luck!! You signed the syllabus. She is a rotten whore so don't let her walk over you. Let her know. Infact don't take math classes there because they have the highest drop out rate and failures in the valley. Go to an acutal campus. Its not worth the time and effort. Go to a real classroom. You end up finishing in the same amount of time.

Wow... I should of read this first... I am taking an outdoor adventure class, full of quizes. One quiz I submitted dd not go through the first ime the site shut down, so had to take it over, so I got a zero for this quiz how was this my fault? the system kivked me out? Okay now problem two I recently have taken a quiz and get this I print out my quiz with final answers, and it says I got some wrong, but when I look at my print out for records i only missed two. I answer c and it said was wrong then on bottom says correct answer is c WTF? then a lady named Karyn has the nerve to say I rigged the quiz dumb asses like I got time to do that... PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!!!!!

They care about making attendance quota to get your money. Very rare to find good teachers there and chief of staffs always pull out the fact you signed a syllabus to shut out your complaints against instructors that play god with your education. Take the time to go to campus and get a real class were the instructors will work with you and give partial credits towards your work. I use to have Rio pride.
Its a good thing I didn't buy their $30.00 collar shirts.

do not take gary baitz. Calc I takes a long time to learn. after a 45 hr work week. You have no leaneancy towards quizs. Take stan bristol. A true teaching hero. Gary baitz will waste your money...

Don't bother calling in for help or information they can't do it. Even if you can get past the crappy attitudes your very likely to come across they won't have the knowledge to help. To be fare not everyone there is bratty on the phone. I found 1 out of about 10 times you will get someone nice and they will attempt to help usually ending up not able to. the ended up dropping 3 of my classes because they either couldn't read or didn't process grant paperwork properly.

The professors are great, however the staff/management is horrible.  It has literally taken me about a year now to get transcripts from Rio Salado to another college, the staff who helped me are rude and snappy with you, they could care less about you.  They need to figure out what part of the system is failing and fix it fast.

from what i have seen the finacial aid office is great i got my check 2 weeks after signing my loan..they always assist and help me whenever i need it.Kammy is the best finacial person to talk to..so far i love rio salado..im just wondering if a hospital wil take me since it an online degree

I agree with CW.  I have had a horrid time with my FA @ Rio because of incompetency.  Everytime you do get through to someone it is always a different reason why your loan checks were not cut yet. How can they enroll you for classes, use your grant funds to pay for them and then not show you as enrolled so your loan funds are posted?  Completely ridiculous.

Rio Salado's Financial Aid Office Is NOT top Notch!!!  They're so ignorant they didn't realize they'd be extra busy in the beginning of a semester when everyone is trying to get financial aid, that now they cannot answer their phones or emails because they've let their selves become swamped!
It has been nearly two months since financial aid moneys should have been dispersed and I am still waiting for my check, everyone attended Rio Salado is in the same boat as I.  They've disabled their online chat, I've called and have been 76th in line, I've emailed several times with no response.
I've been with Rio for about three years ad If I wasn't already halfway through the classes I would drop out and be attending else where.

I don't even know where to start with this school.  Took me 3 months for them to acknowledge that I can receive FA (still have not received it 4 months later) And now they are preventing me from taking a course because of this.  Are you kidding me the schools mistake and I have to pay for it? What BS!!! Oh and if you don't know they have now placed a block calander so "taking courses at your convience" no longer is an option. This school is nothing but lies!!! Take my advice go to any school but this one!!

Will not come back to this school!! I have two weeks left and still no financial aid!! They just want your money and want you to fail so you have to take the same class again and spend yet more of your money on this stupid school. SOME classes are ok but I really think they try to set you up to fail so you have to retake the course. I thought these posts weren't true and people were just having a bad experience but everyone I talk to seems to have the same issue with this school but if you enroll good luck to you and I am sure we will see your posts here soon! 

BIGGEST mistake I ever made going to this college!! I have been going here part time for three years, getting financial aid every year.  EVERY YEAR they threaten to drop me due to non payment since they wait at least a MONTH after you are in classes to disperse financial aid funds, although THEY get them before classes even start...like every other college.  Book vouchers are another source of a cluster.  I have talked to several people about these problems and these lackluster employees I speak with can't be bothered to fix the problem.  They have gone so far as to tell me that there is nothing I can do, but that, next year I need to tell someone to flag my file properly as a financial aid file.  What?!?!?! Why is it not flagged properly since the word "properly" implies that is the correct way of doing something.  So, now, I have to start paying back my loans early and have to deal with that mess while having to wait for next semester to transfer to a new school.  There is much more to state about how poorly this clown college is run, but I've got a lot of work to do to fix the GIANT mess they have created.

joe thai, I have just found out the hard way about the math classes. What a rip off. I feel so taken advantage of. This school sucks.
