Description

This advanced certificate program consists of six courses from RIT's master of science in applied statistics curriculum that deal with the technical aspects of quality engineering. There are also two additional courses in the fundamentals of statistics that can be waived if the student has had equivalent statistics and probability courses. A three-day, non-credit seminar, Data Analysis Using Minitab, is available for students who are not familiar with statistical software and wish to have a refresher on basic statistics. Credit earned through this certificate can be applied toward the master's degree in applied statistics.Individuals will be considered for admission to the graduate certificate program based on prior completion of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution, and two professional recommendations. No calculus background is required for the graduate certificate program.
