This Masters programme consists of 12 interrelated postgraduate level modules (12 x 15 ?CATS? credits). The goal of this specific combination of modules is to provide a clear understanding of the term ?environmental management? and its particular application in respect of the aquatic environment. It provides knowledge of drinking water and wastewater treatment process/technology, air pollution regulation and control, solid waste management and disposal and contaminated land management and remediation. It also offers an insight into how the combination of economic, environmental and ethical/societal factors are increasingly influencing business activities in general, and how important this combination of factors will be in making a business successful during the 21st century.
