For the first time, Stanford University has made a graduate degree program available entirely online: a master's degree in electrical engineering with a focus in telecommunications. Certificate programs are also offered to qualified students who wish to gain expertise in a specific field. All required courses will be accessible to distance learning students via Stanford Online. In order to enrich the educational experience of the enrolled distance students, a variety of interactive seminars, practical short courses and discussions of current events will be offered online.
