I just completed my final term and have learned more than I ever imagirned. The program does not allow one to coast or be spoon fed. One must research and read. This is my second masters. My first was from a brick and mortar school and I breezed through the course work. I also obtained my BS from the brick and mortar university and found the BS more challenging than the MS. TUI was much more challenging but enjoyable too. I had great professors especially those from the UCLA department of epidemiology. The courses on terrorism were also taught by one professor in particular who has done it professionally and worked in the Pentagon. Being self motivated is necessary although you do get assistance from advisors. Furthermore, professors are understanding of other commitments and are typically available by email or phone.
