I am half way throught the MBA program with TUI University. I think that the flexibility of this program is unparalleled compared to other brick and mortar and online schools. I do agree that their grading is a little on the easy side, but at the same time, I have to say that the way that the classes are structured forces you to learn a great deal. I know I have learned much while enrolled. I went to Baylor University for my undergrad and compared to TUI I would say that Baylor is a better institution education wise. However, when you compare almost $30,000 a year to about $9750 a year TUI blows other institutions out of the water. I also believe that TUI is a better institution than some state schools do to the fact that I knew people at the University of Texas that would only go to 3 classes a semester in a course and still recieve B's and A's.

It also stands to says that unless you are graduating from an ivy league or other prestigious school, most employers don't care where you come from as long as you have a degree from an accredited institution.

That being said, I think that TUI is a very good value for the money. Now if they would just change their name to something that doesn't sound like a diploma mill everything would be perfect.

very challenging

I have completed 32 credits towards my PhD in International Health at this point, and can honestly say that I am very impressed with the education, support, and feedback i have received. I am used to online education, having completed my BSN and MSNEd through another well-known and respected online university, and I am happy to say that TUI is very comparable with respect to the education offered. This approach does require an enormous commitment of time, and requires much individual research and writing...that suits me well, but you MUST be self-directed or you will not benefit from this approach!! Overall a great school...and reasonably priced too!

I am very happy that I chose TUIU for my PhD. I was nervous that it would be diploma-mill-ish but they really make you work and I have learned a lot. It is very self-regulated and requires a lot of research. They take it seriously and it is a very, very high quality program. I'm surprised that more people don't know about this program. It's very well structured and organized. Heavy emphasis on academics...moreso than other institutions that I have studied with.

I have gone to brick and mortar schools but have learned and retained much more in this learning environment. While convienent and affordable, it is also challenging but in no way overbearing. I have gone back for my MAED and am applying for the Doctorate program. This has been the best learning experience I have come across. With being in the Army the delivery method is helpful and the faculty understands the plight of the military today.

TUI is great. I have been attending for a year now and find it challenging yet rewarding. If you do not like to write and research then this is not the college for you. If you love reading and doing research you will be okay. Keep up with assignments and don't fall behind. I like my experience so far.

I love it.......

I was before with UMUC and didn't like it because of the lack of consideration they have toward military members. I decided to take classes with Touro and haven't had no complaints with them in the year that I've been with them. Courses are a little bit expensive, but TUI makes up for it by giving military members military discounts and up to 2 free classes. I love them!

I have completed my BSBA and MBA with TUI and they are very good. I have attended many colleges while in the military but have had never seen a school so committed to their students as TUI. Outstanding school!

This is my fifth term with TUI and I have to say overall it’s a good school, and I have attained new knowledge because of the classes I have participated in. I also have taken classes at other institutions and have to say that over all it’s on par with most online schools. Are they easy graders I think they could be tougher but the truth of the matter is most adult schools go easy on the grades because they take into account life experiences, family life etc. TUI is properly accredited by WACS, this is a regional accrediting agency and this type of regional accreditation is highly prized by colleges. A regionally accredited degree can be transferred to almost any school, and if your grades and GRE’s are good enough you will be able to get into a good grad school. One last note if your looking for a Yale, Harvard, NYU or any other ivy league education TUI might not be for you, but last time I checked Yale didn’t offer classes for $750.00 each nor do they offer online degrees that fit within an busy adults lifestyle.
