The Bachelor of Arts (BA) program in Information and Computer Sciences (ICS) is designed for students seeking a broad and deep knowledge of the theory, design, and applications of digital computers and information processing techniques. Students who obtain the bachelor's degree are qualified to undertake technical work in business, industry, and government or to enter a graduate program in computer science. The BA degree allows students to customize their degrees by meeting major requirements with relevant coursework from other disciplines. Students may obtain all ICS courses via ALN. Other (non-ICS) degree requirements may require a mixture of ALN and conventional credits.
