Description
The Master of Science in Information and Computer Sciences emphasizes intensive collaboration and apprenticeship with faculty and with other students on the design, implementation, and evaluation of innovative software technology. This degree is delivered completely on-line, enabling working professionals to acquire the advanced knowledge and skills needed to produce the innovations that will drive the high tech industry of the future without leaving their current positions. Either a BA or BS in ICS or other relevant discipline is a prerequisite for admission; the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test score is also required. Students who begin the program in Sept. 2000 and take 3-4 credits per term including summer sessions may be able to complete the masters degree program in three academic years.
