Description

The Career Specialist Studies course sequence is designed to address the ongoing educational needs of workforce development professionals, guidance counselors, and other educators working with the education-to-careers initiative. These courses provide an opportunity for students to pursue an interdisciplinary course of study. Course content is competency-based, focusing upon an understanding of important concepts and the mastery of critical skills. The goals and learning objectives were designed to conform to the standards benchmarked by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals, while utilizing instructional methods to capitalize on students` existing experiential and professional skills.
