Description
This degree program is the online version of the on-campus MS degree in MIS and is delivered mainly via the Internet. This professional degree program requires 44 credit hours (11 courses, excluding any pre-requisites that may be needed) for completion. This 44 credit hours include a 4 credit hour graduation project or an 8 credit hour thesis, or a 4 credit hour capstone. Most of the required courses are offered in the fall and spring semesters and a small number of courses are developed and offered during the summer. Participation in this program can be either on full-time or part-time basis. All online courses are offered by the full time faculty who teach in the on-campus version of the degree program.

The program is now actually 12 courses, 36 credits. I'm 7 courses into this program and have been thoroughly impressed. The courses are challenging but not back breaking. A lot of busy and group work, exams are closed book and proctored, and each course thus far has required discussion board participation. Most have streaming weekly lectures that are taped for future viewing. As of now tuition for on-line only courses runs around $295 a credit ...
