Designed for nuclear power plant operations and engineering personnel. Program consists of nuclear engineering major and management technology minor. Delivered through a combinatation of computer aided instruction and periodic visits to nuclear sites by UMUC professors. Supplemented through contracted local professors to teach general education courses.

The courses provided exceptional value to the operations and engineering support personnel who have taken part in the program. Advancement has been high within the organizations that have provided this program since its beginning in 1984.
