Today's environment requires health care professionals to assume higher levels of responsibility with a broader scope and more demands.To prepare health professionals to meet these challenges, the University's experienced faculty of nationally recognized health care professionals has developed two on-line programs:Master of Science in Health Systems (33 credits) Certificate in Clinical Systems Management (12 credits)These programs are specifically designed for health care professionals who are interested in building management skills. They are offered in partnership with the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (ASCLS); the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); and CLMA: Leadership in Clinical Systems Management.Program benefits are numerous. While learning valuable new management skills, health professionals have the opportunity to interact on a one-to-one basis with faculty and colleagues from all over the country and internationally. In addition to this national networking opportunity, health professionals have the opportunity to:1. maximize career potential 2. build competencies to manage in a variety of health care/clinical settings 3. earn graduate academic credits any time, any place 4. obtain credit for work experience through portfolio assessment 5. obtain a degree from the largest, fully accredited health sciences university of its kind in the nation 6. join the growing number of health care professionals from all over the country who are enrolled in these programs 7.
