The University of Missouri-Rolla was renamed as Missouri University of Science and Technology in January 2008.  The University was founded in 1870 as the University of Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy.  Accreditation is by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.  Missouri S&T currently offers 11 online degree programs:

Business Administration (MBA) 
Civil Engineering (MS) 
Computer Science (MS) 
Engineering Management (MS) 
Environmental Engineering (MS) 
Geotechnics (ME) 
Information Science and Technology (MS) 
Manufacturing Engineering (MS/ME) 
Mechanical Engineering (MS) 
Mining Engineering (ME) 
Systems Engineering (MS)
