The fully accredited program provides practitioners working in community colleges, technical institutes, four-year colleges and universities throughout the world the background for leadership in higher education. Students can complete 100% of the program online. The method of delivery, Lotus Notes, frees the student of time and space limitations. A three to four year format enables students to progress at reasonable rates without an unsustainable study load being placed on them. The doctoral program (Ed.D.or Ph.D) in Administration, Curriculum and Instruction (ACI) with a Specialization in Educational Leadership and Higher Education (ELHE) is designed to give students a high degree of time and location freedom while maintaining interaction between students and faculty at the level demanded by doctoral studies. Admission requirements are identical to those required for on-campus students. It is recommended but not required that students enroll at campus for at least one five-week summer term, to meet with faculty, develop their dissertation proposals and begin research with resources available in Lincoln.
