Review:
I graduated from UOP with a BS in Finance in the summer of 2007. I liked the instructors there, and they did seem and prove that they knew very well what they were teaching and had much years of past and current experience to prove it. The learning teams were OK; there were pros and cons to it. But overall, I think I paid way too much for an education and it's been hard for me to advance in my career field for such an expensive education. I'm considering going back to school to get my MBA, but I'm sure that I will not be going back to UOP for that. I want to get an education from professors that focus more on teaching and education - not on profit. And also go to school that is "respected" more. I've gotten so many reject letters from companies that won't even give me an interview, and I believe the biggest reason is because I got my degree from UOP and not a "better" or highly established college.

Review:
Ok I will grant that they have a decent use of technology, but that is only because the classes are offered online. UOP charges way too much for tuition. The support from advisors or financial aid officares is crap. THey change or get fired every month. The e-books are very difficult to go through and find what you need. I was able to complete my degree with only having to crack the books to answer an occasional homework problem. The team learning sucks since most people do not do their part and the teachers don't seem to care. I think I have one maybe two instructors who had an idea of what they were teaching. Now that I am trying to get into grad school there are some that see my UOP degree as sub-par and want a higher GMAT. I graduated with a 3.2. I understand not the best, but after awhile I got to the point that it really did not matter what work i did.

Review:
worthless degree program. I completed two years of my bachelors program here. I then tried to transfer to a traditional school and they accepted precisely NONE of my credits. I was told by UoP that all their credits were transferable. I was told by the traditional school that UoP is considered a substandard program. After enrolling at the traditional school I understand why they say UoP is substandard. Avoid at all costs

Review:
I find this program to be easy and well organized. I did find that facilitators all teach differently but do follow the guidelines of the school. It was frustrating at times when the servers where down and when the school was updating to a new system. After the new system was put in place the frustration of emails not posted and assignments not posted was lessened. I found the online books to be easier to navigate then to have a book on hand. Overall I would recommend this program to anybody that can afford it. I have found that I can still work full time and still have family time even though I am at school everyday. I have enjoyed this program and will continue on to my master degree after a short break.
