University of Phoenix is a for-profit institution, so the prices are much higher than other programs. That being said, the program was much more rigorous than the online programs chosen by many of my colleagues. Because of this, I learned more than I ever dreamed I would. If you want the skills needed to become a leader in Instructional/Educational technology, you will find that this program will help you to develop them, but it is by no means the only option.
