You Get Out of It What You Put IN IT !!!

I have recently graduated with my BSB/HRM. At times it was very hard, some classes were not as hard. Teams can be challenging since most likely they are people you will never meet and you have to rely on them to pull their weight. I never had problems with my advisors or financial aid. Actually my financial advisor helped me find an organization to join so I could get a discount on my tuition. College, ...

University of Phoenix - A good choice!

University of Phoenix (UOP), is a great school, especially if you are wanting to get your BS in Human Services. I have been at UOP for 3 years and have never really had any problems with the teaching methods. The classes can be very challenging in fact! I have to literally work at least 15 to 20 hours a week just to complete one week in one class. A lot of people think that they ...

Good School

I been in school since December 2009. UOP has taught me good things for my class, my first class is about to end and I recommend this school to anyone it's very flexible for a single parent like me. I really like this school it better than the other online schools, it has a good support team too.

In this case, you DON'T get what you've paid for..

Perhaps I should take full credit for not researching all my options for online schools before I enrolled in UOP (University of Phoenix). I completed one year at this school and have now transferred to another online degree program. When first signed up for UOP, the customer service was impeccable—truly second to none. Once I was enrolled, that all changed. I was never able to reach anyone when I had questions or problems. I had ...

A lot of people think that they are going to online school and it should be easier than a classroom environment, in fact it is quite the opposite of that. If you think that because you are going to school online that the work will be quick and easy, think again! The reading is tremendous and the work is long and hard, but in the end it is worth the learning experience. The only people that seem to have problems with this school are the money seekers; AKA people who are going to college to get the money from loans and when they do not get it fast enough, they get irritated and become irrational.

I am finshing up my A.A in Criminal Justice and I am starting my BS in December. I have had two surgeries and still graduated. UOP has never let me down. The problem is that one has to communicate effectively and in a timely manner. That is the Key...We all are having ups and downs, especially now, however we must do our part in letting the right people know what is going on ahead of time...

I RECEIVED MY BSHS/M AT UOP. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO OTHERS. YES, THE PRICES ARE EXPENSIVE BUT IT IS WORTH IT IN THE END. THE ADVISORS ARE THERE WHEN YOU NEED THEM TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WHETHER YOU HAVE TO WITHDRAW OR TAKING SOME TIME OFF. I NEVER! HAD PROBLEMS TALKING TO ANYONE. SOME OF THE INSTRUCTORS ARE MORE INFORMATIVE THAN OTHERS BUT YOU DID GET FEEDBACK FROM EACH ASSIGNEMNT POSTED AND THE PARTICIPATION. YOU WILL LEARN THINGS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR FIELD AT UOP. I PLAN TO ATTEND UOP FOR MY MASTERS IN SOCIAL SERVICES. BEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

This school has given me complete hell n the last year. I have had a Mother on life support and my dad was put on dialysis. They did not inform me that I was limited with waivers and during these stressful moments I was unable to focus on the work load. They have told me to take a Professional Judgement, which they have denied twice. I was not advised prior of the effects of waivers. The faculty/staff members are young with no experience and fail to give out precise information. Stuck!

I am thinking about attending UOP(Uvn. Of Phx)but; just reading the reviews scares me. I was laid off from my IT job back in May, 2008 and still looking for a job here in SC but; this state is slow about everything. I am forced to start over and I decided I would pursuit a degree in Human Service. I really like working with people of all ages. I just want to make sure that the communcation level is what it's suppose to be. Online course work is great but; only if you can get the help you need. Would like to know if UOP is good on communication and supported of their students?

I had just finished my degree in Business and I am currently enrolled in BSHS/305. I think that the team participation is very beneficial not only for our assignments but in future employment. Between working with other students and balancing out assignments, the team work allows equal input for all team members. This is a great school that allows people who find that their local colleges do not offer associates, bachelors, or a master degree.
