The classes do not require you dig deep and learn. It is a series of reading assignments and surface level papers. The only programming class I had the professor did not bother to post most days. It was obvious he had another job and the UofP was not his main, second, or third concern.

The University of Phoenix learning methodology is not for everyone. I earned my degree in January of 2010. I benefited from the program structure and team concepts used in each of the courses. The course instructors had real life experience as well as good educational backgrounds. I would recommend this program to those who have the individual discipline to learn in an on-line environment.

I can't say enough good things about the MIS program at the University of Phoenix. I am 70% of the way through the program and I feel as if I am learning things that I can immediately use in my work environment. The instructors have been helpful, the textbooks and articles are relevant and up-to-date and I overall feel as if I am getting a great education.
