I've been in the oilfield for twenty five years. Ive rouphnecked, rig mechanic assistant, mechanic for crude haulers, hauled crude, hauled lease water, worked with fracturing technologies. I am now thinking about getting a associates degree in petrolium technologies to interface with engineering. would like to get a degree that would allow me to eventually get a bachelors.

I would Appreciate any information you would have that would help me fulfill my goal of continuing and completing the education that I have, academically.  
     I have not been registered in any course since fall semester 1990 at Long Beach City College, where I was put on Academic Dismissal because of not meeting my obligations of an add drop rate percentage of completion, due to the Social Service Club of the College.  I had a Daughter, and I have been Working Offshore in the Oil and Gas Industry ever since.
     Right Now I am Doing Sub Sea Completion Work About 100 miles offshore of Cameron LA, aboard the Blake Offshore Jackup Rig 303 and was fortunate enough to run across this site on the internet which I have seen before but never commented.  Hopefully getting reviewed.
