Description
The Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) degree is an optional University degree for students who have completed the requirements for or who have an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at an accredited vocational/technical school, a college or a service school. The BAT is an inverted degree program that builds on an occupational/technical program, which serves as the "major". A "core" (general education requirements) and a "BAT track" compliment this major.

The BAT program allowed me to earn a bachelors degree in applied technology without having to start all over again with my college education. Other programs did not take into account my associates degree. I would have had to start on my bachelor degree from scratch. The BAT is an inverted degree program that built on my associates degree.
