Business Foundations is an online five-course credit certificate program developed by the UW Business School to help meet industry's demand for professionals with fundamental business skills. Participants gain a better understanding of business while increasing their foundational business skills. They learn methods to enhance performance in a multitude of areas. The program provides a general overview of the major areas needed by any professional in business, including accounting, international business, marketing, business communications and finance.Each course includes an introduction, learning objectives, lesson assignments, key terms, study questions, self-graded exercises, examples to illustrate content, and links to resources such as texts. Updates are provided to keep pace with the changing business environment.
