OK, but needs some work While some of the courses I have taken in this program have been interesting and thought provoking, the instruction has been completely lacking. The instructors assign readings and then leave the students to discuss it with little to no guidance from the instructors, even when questions that can only be answered by the instructors are posed. There are almost no lectures and some of the assignments seem to be busy work. In three of the courses I received no feedback from instructors at all so I never knew where I stood in the class or if my work was adequate. Unfortunately, the instructor who is the worst about this is the head of the department so it isn't likely that anything will change soon.
