Within the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Washington State University now offers a major in MIS (Management Information Systems). This major, available entirely in an online, asynchronous format is designed to enable graduates to enter the working world as a systems analyst, systems project manager, systems developer, or Web master. The coursework, fully accredited by the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business and the International Association for Management Education, takes students through a rigorous information systems curriculum including content on systems analysis and design, software development, telecommunications, e-commerce, IT project management, and information systems strategy.
