Description
WSU's Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice degree prepares students for positions in the criminal justice system, other government agencies, and the private sector. A completion degree, the distance BA in Criminal Justice offers a policy-focused curriculum which provides students with broad exposure in the social sciences preferred by governmental and private agencies. The curriculum is based on 12 credit hours of criminal justice core courses, 12 credit hours of criminal justice electives, and 24 or 25 credit hours of collateral electives in sociology and psychology; most courses are available through distance learning options. The program regularly accepts transfer credits from community colleges and four-year colleges throughout the Northwest and the United States.
