Description

The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities is a broad-based, interdisciplinary, liberal arts degree. It is configured in the same manner as the social sciences degree, the most flexible degree delivered at a distance. There is not a set list of required courses for students to take. Working with an academic advisor who evaluates incoming transfer work, each student develops a program of study that best meets his or her educational goals. The focus of the degree is on developing skills in communication, writing, problem solving, and critical thinking with a focus on the humanities. The degree is appropriate for many careers, including social services, law enforcement and corrections, business, and education.
